  All in all, if you find yourself hungry, keep going forward, you will find something better down the road. We were on the road for a while and decided to stop at the first Italian restaurant we saw, and oh my it was a mistake. The first hint was the look of boredom of people as they wait for their waiters/waitresses, then there was the lettuce in oil, I mean their version of a salad. So we figured okay, their new and gave them a shot. We ordered the picatta, and the mediteranean shrimp. Well if you are an addict of sage, you will love the mediteranian shrimp. Too bad they didn't tell us it had sage, and not just a little bit of sage, but infused through and through and a 12 inch stem of sage on top. If you like expensive chain food that has been frozen and claimed as fresh, then this is the place for you.

  The food was very tasty and reasonably priced for an Italian restaurant. You can expect to pay between $12-16 for an entree. Especially liked their tiramisu.
  The service was good, our waitress was prompt and friendly. I would recommend Bacci's to a friend. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, but could use a little improvement (nicer menus, cloth napkins, fancier dressed staff) to turn Bacci's into a truly fine dining experience. Nevertheless, it was a nice treat while on vacation in Pagosa Springs.

  Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. We asked our waitress for a sample of one of the wines, and she brought another to compare to the one we requested, on her own accord! We ordered Caesar salads which were tasty and to order (we ordered one with light dressing). The waitress was attentive, but not overbearing(hard to come by these days), we never had to search her out, she was always one step ahead. For entrees my husband ordered the special and I ordered the spinach raviolis (which were on happy hour special from 4-6) and both were delivered hot and delicious. The staff worked well together, with 3 members checking on our table to see if we needed anything. We even were moved to order dessert, which our waitress delivered just as we had finished our entrees. We also ordered espressos, which were great as well. We left with clean plates and happy hearts.
